Dental Veneer Makeover

Kaitlynne first came to Justice Dental for her dental veneer makeover right after she was crowned the Lexington/Fayette County Miss Kentucky. Since Justice Dental is the official dental office for the Miss Kentucky winners, Kaitlynne came for an initial dental visit and met Dr. Laura Justice. Actually Kaitlynne had been flying all over the country talking to kids about her platform. So we agreed to pick her up at the Lexington Blue Grass Airport and bring her straight to the office. 

During her initial meeting with Dr. Justice, she talked about the fact that she had already had Dental Veneers installed at another dental office. However, she was not happy with the way they looked and said they “looked like Chiclets”. She told us they kept her from really feeling confident about smiling the way she wanted to. She asked if there was anything that could be done to give her the smile that reflected the happy way she felt inside. 

Although Lexington is the 60^th largest city in the country, and is known as Big Blue Nation, The Horse Capital of the World and home to Keenland Race Track. The fact that there is a World-Class dental office with two massively accredited dentists in one place is unheard of. Kaitlynne knew she was in good hands. 

 Dr. Laura Justice and the team at Justice Dental listened to her goals and then created some great options for her to consider. The first and best option was to replace her old Dental Veneers with new state of the art Porcelain Veneers.

What is a Porcelain Veneer?

You can think of a porcelain veneer a lot like a press-on nail, but for your teeth. Porcelain veneers are very thin (0.3mm, about the thickness of a business card) custom designed covers of porcelain that are bonded to the front of your tooth. Porcelain is the material of choice because it most naturally replicates human enamel. They are used to change the shape, color, size, and symmetry of the teeth and smile.

Kaitlynne’s Smile Makeover Results

Since Kaitlynne was going to the Kentucky Derby the next day and had a big photo shoot with UK Basketball Coach John Calipari and Mayor Jim Gray, she was concerned about what her smile was going to look like once her old dental veneers were removed. Since we knew this was going to be a quick turn around, we had KaitLynne take advantage of our Virtual Consult technology. She simply snapped a picture of her smile with her iPhone and send it in over the website. Then we were able to do a Smile Makeover for her ahead of time using our Smile Imaging program.
